Curtain Focus

Bathrooms can be really fun rooms to decorate. They are usually small enough to not be overwhelming and a theme can be incorporated depending on who is using the bathroom, especially for a child or teen bathroom. For boys, a nautical theme is a great one they can grow with; the colors are great, and things like a lighthouse shower curtain and accessories can really make it playful.

Whether the boys are toddlers or teens, a nautical bathroom is a perfect one to choose. Often, picking out a shower curtain is a great place to begin. Fun, nautical themed signs can be hung on the walls, or to maintain the lighthouse theme, find pictures of lighthouses to frame and hang. They can be small black and white photos, perhaps a fun print or two that go together, anything that incorporates the lighthouse theme and colors. Towels make great accessories; match new, fluffy ones to the walls and curtain colors.

This is a fun theme that any boy will be happy with for years. Remember to find the lighthouse shower curtain first and use it as guide for the rest of the room, which can be soothing and calm, or fun and bright, just like the ocean.
